In the latest episode of The Great Debate, host Andy Atherton is joined by J. Arsenio D’Amato, Greg Phillips and Chad Campbell. As well as pop culture topics such as: what Disney animated features should be remade as live-action movies and which ones shouldn’t; Scarlett Johansson movies vs. Emma Stone movies; why is it that Hollywood has had a difficult time making successful R-Rated comedies; TV shows they feel ended a season or two too early; and examples of some of their favorite usage of popular music in movies. Mild-mannered reporters by day, Greg Phillips and Nick Duke share an intense love of comic books that has made them the Hard-Traveling Fanboys. Over the course of their travels through comicdom, they have encountered numerous stories via the wonder of trade paperbacks and graphic novels. Once a month, Nick and Greg will review one of those collections in The Longbook Hunters. In this edition, SHAZAM Month continues as the boys tackle the 1994 graphic novel "The Power of Shazam!" by writer/artist Jerry Ordway! It's yet another retelling of the classic Captain Marvel tale, modernizing the concept and yet creating a retro feel. How does this story match up against the other Shazam/Marvel origins Greg and Nick have experienced during Shazam Month? And just how creepy is Thaddeus Sivana?!
