Well, the off season is in full swing, so Andrew and Adam are turning August into expansion Draft month again. This week we go over last year's results and peruse the Eastern Conference teams and make their protection lists. Enjoy.

PTBN's NBA-Team: Spend Fast, Cap Hard

The NBA offseason is upon us, but if you blinked, you missed free agency and the trade market drying up like Bradley Beal and Damian Lillard's max contracts. Adam Murray and Andrew Riche, Place To Be Nation's NBA-Team, are back after a quick deal summary episode to deep dive what exactly these teams are trying to accomplish. The dreaded luxury tax apron strikes again as contenders either dove in or backed out of paying the big bill. But first, they talk about last month's draft as Adam tries to talk Andrew off the ledge after the Pelicans pulled one of the most stupefying draft day deals of all-time. The guys also talk about LeBron's realistic options after opting in to his final year of his deal with the Lakers, the Bucks sabotaging the Pacers, draft day surprises, the Knicks hiring Mike Brown, and more. NBA-Team: There Was A Game 7?

We had a game 7, but did anyone notice ? Thanks to ESPN's decision to cover the Durant trade, the Knicks ongoing coaching search, the Dallas Cowboys, and literally anything else, a historically great season was kind of undermined. So of course Andrew and Adam discuss the durant trade, load management, the draft, oh yeah, and the championship finals. 

NBA-Team: Gone Fishin': Mo' Money, Mo' Problems.

These teams all had championship aspirations, and invested as such. However, they all fell short and now have some expensive questions to ask. Teams covered are: BOS, CLE, GSW, DEN, and MIN. NY was here as well, but they seemed to answer that question by firing their coach...which I don't think many would have guessed. Enjoy. 

PTBN's NBA-Team: 2025 NBA Finals Preview

WE are FINALLY at the end of the road for the 2025 NBA Championship series, and all signs lead to... Oklahoma City and Indiana?! Adam Silver might be shedding tears explaining that to ESPN, but Adam Murray and Andrew Riche, Place To Be Nation's NBA-Team, are more than ready to talk about X's and O's and the Jimmy's and Joe's, or in this case, the Shai's and Tyrese's and Chet's. The Finals will start fast, but will the Thunder's top-ranked defense be able to bog down the Pacer's torrid shooting this postseason? Who will guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and does Tyrese Haliburton have one more clutch play left in him for the Finals? Riche and Adam also discuss the conference finals in the previous round, small market teams finally getting the last laugh for once in the NBA, and more!
