Nick Duke and Greg Phillips, the Hard-Traveling Fanboys, keep an HTF tradition alive as they begrudgingly begin another Walking Dead Month! To kick things off, they're jumping to season 4 episode 1 of the AMC spinoff Fear the Walking Dead! It's a jumping-on point for new viewers, as longtime Walking Dead favorite Morgan Jones (Lennie James) hops over to the spinoff and begins a new journey. But is it a journey worth watching? Opinions may vary. It's a do or die episode of the longest-running weekly episodic comic book podcast in all of Place to Be Nation!

In Fix It or Nix It, Nick and Greg will tackle the worst of the worst in comic book movies — box office bombs, critical duds and movies that left fans scratching their heads. But rather than simply pile on the critiques of these stinkers, the boys are challenged to fix these movies and turn them into something watchable. In episode number two, the boys tackle the 2005 FOX-Marvel film "Elektra." It's one of the worst comic book films of them all, but can the boys find enough to turn this from a dud to a ... slightly more successful dud?

They also debate what their choices would have been if a fall/winter movie wager had been held as well as take an early look at next summer's release schedule to see what the selection of movies will be for the 2020 summer movie wager.

This and the many uses of fast-forwarding footage are discussed as Russell and Todd revisit the 1990 pilot episode of The Flash! John Wesley Shipp stars as Barry Allen, aka The Flash, in this short-lived series that, for better or worse, was some of the best (see only) superhero television at the time. Does this have more in common with The Flash or Tim Burton's Batman from a year earlier? Well... they both have Danny Elfman music!
