Welcome to another edition of This Week in the NFL! Playoff football is in full gear and your cohosts the Cowboy and the incomparable John D'Amato are here to break down the action for you. The boys take a look back at the Divisional Round and provide an in depth breakdown of the upcoming Conference Championship matchups. Enjoy!

In Off the Page, the boys take a look at comic book media outside the books themselves -- games, TV shows, movies and so forth. The DC Universe app recently uploaded the unaired 2006 pilot episode of a proposed Aquaman television show, so this month, the boys watch it for the very first time! Originally scheduled to debut on the WB Network, the UPN-WB merger (which led to the CW) ultimately doomed this show to obscurity. How does it hold up in 2019, and should it have been picked up in place of some of the other debuting CW shows?

In a special PTBN Pop podcast, Andy Atherton is joined by Scott Criscuolo, Steve Willie and Tim Capel to take a look back at some of the celebrities deaths in 2018. Those we lost include: Penny Marshall, Anthony Bourdain, President George H.W. Bush, Willie McCovey, Dolores O’Riordan, Stan Lee, John McCain, Aretha Franklin, Stephen Hawking, Neil Simon and Burt Reynolds. The guys share stories about the effect and impressions that these remarkable individuals have left on the world and hope they do them justice as they memorialize them.

At long last, Glenn & Scott return to the Oscar vault to run down the nominees for best score of 2017! They discuss Phantom Thread by Jonny Greenwood, Dunkirk by Hans Zimmer, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri by Carter Burwell, The Shape of Water by Alexandre Desplat, Star Wars: The Last Jedi by John Williams, and the definition of music. Stay after the break for their thoughts on selected non-nominated scores from 2017 as well.

Kelly and Steve Williams dive into REM's "Losing My Religion" and LFO's "Every Other Time" on the 18th edition of Songs With Friends!  Topics include scary stalker behavior, MTV Cribs, high school drama, southern colloquialisms, homemade Affliction shirts, Pop-Up Video, gray sweatpants, our preferred methods of music piracy, an impromptu music survey, and Kelly's plans to interview the ghosts of Steve's past!

Enter Countdown, a monthly episode where Greg and Nick will each give a top five list and debate the merits therein.
 
In this edition, the boys count down the worst changes enacted to existing characters in the Marvel and DC universes. These are the (usually) editorially mandated “bold new directions” that fundamentally damaged their characters and left nerds like Greg and Nick shaking their fists in rage.

It's been too long, but Adam Murray and Andrew Riche, Place To Be Nation's NBA-Team, are back at it, and.... what in the blazes has happened to the NBA standings. Your favorite NBA experts try to get through it all. The Warriors are close to full strength, but why are they still feeling the home blues? Have the Milwaukee Bucks peaked yet? Who is going to emerge (and who will eventually tumble) in a wild Western Conference where the standings are razor thin?
