In this double It Was a Thing on TV Live Show pack we got football and we once again return to the world of Beyond Belief.
First, Greg and Chico look at the Pilot episode of "Friday Night Lights" from 2006 as they look at and examine the cast of characters that surround the Dillon Panthers football team. Also, we're here for that Mack Brown cameo in the middle of the episode with Coach Taylor.
Then, Mike, Greg and Chico are back for their second livewatch of Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction. We watch another episode from Season 2 as Jonathan Frakes shows us stories about a retiring pro wrestler, a haunting VHS tape, a woman haunted by the ghost of her dead mother at a clothing store, an insurance scam and an escaping prisoner.
Play along with Mike and Chico as they determine what is truth and what is downright bullfunky.

It Was a Thing on TV: Episodes 309 & 310 - Half Nelson/Whew! Revisited
Wednesday Oct 05, 2022
Wednesday Oct 05, 2022
This week on It Was a Thing on TV we got a mostly forgotten show starring one of the Wet Bandits and we revisit a subject all the way back in Episode 31.
First, NBC might have made a big comeback in the mid-1980s, but there was one huge weakness for them--Friday nights at 9 PM against shows like Benson and Dallas. Half Nelson was another Friday at 9 victim, succumbing after a month and a half. But it had a lot of big names!
Then, Our 4th show revisited is a show that was beloved among fans for decades, which unexpectedly turned up on BUZZR in 2021. Before then, roughly 15 episodes were available. We felt we needed to revisit this classic since we now know much more about Whew!

Making Mt. Rushmore #35 - 2000’s Comedy Films & 2000’s Action Movies
Friday Sep 30, 2022
Friday Sep 30, 2022
In the thirty-fifth episode of Making Mt. Rushmore, panelists Jennifer Smith, Matt Souza & Keith Langston join moderator Steve Riddle to discuss which 2000’s Comedy Films deserve a place on their respective lists. Is Superbad a no-brainer? What about The 40-Year-Old Virgin? Does Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy grab a spot? Does Forgetting Sarah Marshall or The Replacements deserve a place? After that, they discuss which 2000’s Action Movies will be part of that grouping. Can you argue that Kill Bill Vol.1 shouldn’t get a spot? Will The Fast And The Furious be included? Is Taken in the conversation? What about The Bourne Identity & Mission: Impossible 3?
